ConnXus to Co-sponsor Inclusive Innovation Event at HBCU@SXSW
ConnXus is excited to attend the 2018 HBCU@SXSW event this March. SXSW (South by Southwest) is a celebration of innovative technology and digital creativity for students, artists, professionals, and educators. In 2016, HBCU@SXSW was created for technical and non-technical students from underrepresented backgrounds, to give them exposure to the possibility of working the the technology industry. HBCU@SXSW hopes to celebrate diversity and inclusion by bringing together the brightest minority college students to SXSW.
ConnXus is co-sponsoring HBCU@SXSW’s 4th annual Inclusive Innovators, Investors & Influencers Reception & Dinner, Saturday, March 10th at the JW Marriott.
We’ve invited members of the Dell Supply Chain Sustainability team to join our discussion. The nation’s top underrepresented students students will attend official HBCU@SXSW workshops and panels sponsored by partnering tech companies, as well as one-on-one recruiting experiences, mentorship, networking experiences. These events aim to promote tech careers, startup entrepreneurship and wealth creation. The cohort will also interact with globally respected entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders of color.
