ConnXus Fuels Economic Growth at 2017 NMSDC Conference + Business Opportunity Exchange
On Monday, October 23, the ConnXus team traveled to Detroit to take part in the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC) 2017 Conference and Business Opportunity Exchange, to continue to advance opportunities for minority business enterprises by connecting them with corporate buyers.
For the third year in a row, ConnXus was invited to be a part of P&G’s Community of Partners to support their multi-tier supplier diversity program by facilitating meetings between P&G primes and diverse suppliers using the ConnXSmart strategic sourcing tool.
First launched at NMSDC 2015, ConnXSmart matched over 70 P&G majority partners and diverse suppliers this year to promote dialogues and enable business and networking opportunities at the world’s largest minority business conference and opportunity exchange.
In addition, we debuted out latest concierge-level registration service with our client American Red Cross (ARC). We were able to streamline the supplier registration process by registering over a hundred of prospective suppliers to their Registration Portal directly from their company booth.
As the saying goes… we worked hard and played just as hard. Hundreds of buyers and supplier stopped by the ConnXus booth for a chance to win a Google Chromecast, Amazon Echo, Apple Watch or a one-year membership for ConnXus Platinum. Take a look at our lucky winners below!
