Our story

ConnXus was founded in 2010 by Rod Robinson due to his frustrations with the inability to identify new, quality, diverse suppliers as a result of incomplete databases, fragmented resources, and expensive software during his time as a chief procurement officer for Cincinnati Bell.

Since then we have continued to build and develop our platform, creating a complete, convenient, and cost-effective solution to meet the needs of both buyers and suppliers. Woven into the fabric of our company culture is the motto #WeLead. This represents the trail-blazing precedent we set in the supplier management industry. In just seven years ConnXus has gone from a new player in the supplier diversity field to one of the nation’s leading supplier management companies with over 20 subscription-based Fortune 2000 company clients.

Furthermore, our ConnXSmart® matchmaking tool facilitated 180 meetings between 68 Procter & Gamble (P&G) primes and diverse suppliers during the Business Opportunity Exchange at the 2015 National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) annual conference. Our procurement solutions provide buyers with easily accessible strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and supplier diversity tools from one central, cloud-based space.

In addition, suppliers have the option to create a company profile – at no charge, or upgrade to a more sustainable business membership – ConnXus Platinum.   The basic company profile membership prominently displays business certifications, provides access to bid opportunities – which now includes a stream of SAP Ariba opportunities –  and exclusive business discounts from our strategic partners.  The ConnXus Supplier Development Program includes these benefits plus registration portal services, priority invitations to sourcing events, business coaching and more, for just $199 per year.

Six months ago, we expanded our capabilities to encompass the greater supplier management space as well as supplier diversity, and just last week we were featured in Spend Matters Vendor Solution and received rave reviews.
